HOWEVER, we may need to wait and see how team Sickwidit Crew will be added to REC-OAK. As fate would have it, tons of OAK gym space is not available Sunday morning due to an AAU tourney. That and the fact that Sickwidit is still playing a regular season game in the AAA-N may force me to push back the start of the rec-oak playoffs.

TUE 3/24 (10:45PM) -- Here are the scores from 3/22...

...which result in the updated standings to the left, of which we used the following tiebreakers, although to avoid repeats of matchups from 3/22 for 3/29, it doesn't really matter all that much...
rec-oak: bay hype 45, slum dogs 40 -- therefore, Bay Hype is above Slumdogs
rec-oak: LIDF 35, ATR 29 -- therefore, LIDF is above ATR
...and...
rec-oak: sq 52, spartans 51
rec-oak: spartans 73, dgk 56
rec-oak: DGK 42, SQ 41
...in which I did a quick-and-dirty tiebreaker (not the one I would use for playoff seedings) by going with point differential, resulting in Spartans +16, SQ even at 0, and DGK -16, therefore Spartans are above SQ who are above DGK in the standings.
This sets up the following block of games for this Sun 3/29...
inter2: Natural Disasters (6-1) at 5one0 (4-3) -- This is because last week, OakW already played NatD and we're not gonna repeat that matchup. So the next one on the totem pole from OakW's conference is 5one0. Let's see, there will be 12 teams in the playoffs, therefore the #9 thru #12 seeds are at risk of a doubleheader and the #1 thru #4 seeds only have to play a maximum of 1 game in the 1st round. That means if 5one0 pulls out a victory, it has a mathematical chance for a top four seed. Natural Disasters? Guess what, Bay Hype and Slumdogs can still mathematically reach 6-2, therefore even with only 1 loss this season thus far, NatD could drop from the top four! So on the surface this looked like it had no playoff implications, but it certainly does.
inter2: Bay Hype (5-2) at Oakland Warriors (5-2) -- The winner of the East automatically gets the #2 seed and you can see that 5one0 can still possibly catch Oakland Warriors (well, I haven't looked at head-to-heads, but I will next week). Same story as mentioned above. Top four seeds are up for grabs. Teams could go either way.
inter2: Slumdogs (5-2) at SQ (3-4) -- We couldn't repeat Slumdogs vs Spartans again, so here's the next best option. What an unlucky draw for SQ, but hey they gotta start winning big games anyways if they wanna make a splash in the playoffs. Obviously double-elim status is on the line for SQ.
inter2: Nobodies (3-4) at Spartans (3-4) -- As luck would have it, one of these teams will be relegated with single-elim status after all is said and done 3/29. This matchup is, again, the next best matchup after avoiding a Slum vs Spar repeat.
inter2: Life In Da Fastbreak (2-5) at What Would Wat Do (1-6) -- This matchup avoids a repeat of WWWD vs ATR from last week. I suppose this matchup doesn't have much playoff implication. Neither can reach double-elim status at this point.
inter2: ATR (2-5) at DGK (3-4) -- But of course we had to have the two 3-letter acronym teams play each other! Actually this is only because of the non-repeat of WWWD vs ATR, based on standings. So anyways, DGK has a chance to clinch double-elim status. ATR does not, but looking at the standings, finishing 3-5 has gotta count for something (maybe it won't, who knows).
