SEPTEMBER 7, 2004 -- We will be updating this site with an article about the championship game shortly. Also, belated all-star voting will be distributed soon. Sorry about that! Congratulations to Alliance for winning it. Stats are up...
AUGUST 13, 2004 -- Here are recaps from 8/8 playoff games...
Flying Elephants 59, Striders 58: Nino De Leon extended the 8th-seed Flying Elephants' storybook season...More
DFB 44, BTR 43: The #1 Dynamic Flying Brothers made the most out of 6th-seeded Below The Rim's foul woes...More
DFB 69, Flying Elephants 67: Nino De Leon bailed out the Flying Elephants earlier in the day by stroking a three-pointer at the buzzer to eliminate the Striders, but it was not to be against the Dynamic Flying Brothers...More
Alliance 67, Fob Five 55: #2-seeded Alliance took command of the playoff brackets...More
Previews for 8/15...
#1 DFB at #4 Fob Five: Fob5 gets the home-court advantage thanks to Alliance...DFB has many weapons, but the question is, are they going to show up to the game?...We're still waiting to see Fob Five's Junius Ho, Frank Liu, Johnny Liu, and Darien Tung all have a great game at the same time...Same thing for any four of DFB's arsenal: Steve Fong, Rich Santiago, Nate Wong, Ryan Susanto, Chris Wada.
Winner of DFB/Fob5 vs Alliance: DFB only has a chance if their full lineup is available; with the game(s) all the way down in Paly, on paper this is doubtful...Fob5 needs three out of their potent four in Ho, Liu, Liu, and Tung to score a bunch...Fob5 would need to hit their threes and play better team defense against Alliance's well-balanced, veteran chemistry...Alliance by 3.
