JUNE 29, 2003 -- St. Mary's rolled to an 83-66 championship victory over undermanned Play Hard. Previously, Play Hard defeated the surging Safeway team 74-64 to advance against St. Mary's.
Jay Pattagulan of Play Hard won the 3-Point Shootout, scoring a Dream League record 21 points to overtake Brian Schaffer of SFPD.
Final rankings are as follows, in order of when knocked out in the playoffs followed by W-L record:
1. St. Mary's (11-1) 2. Play Hard (6-5) 3. Safeway (5-8) 4. Old School (4-7) 5. SFPD (7-4) 6. Nonprofits United (5-6) 7. SBC/PacificBell (3-7) 8. PricewaterhouseCoopers (3-7)
The stats for the championship weekend are now up. We are currently in a project with the Potrero Hill Neighborhood House Mayor's Youth Employment and Education Program to get the missing stats from this season up. ETA is the end of August.
