Pre-Tournament Message

There is also a forum (message board) below for you to pose questions or comments for the general Dream League public to hear. Please note that we use this same message board for all of our leagues, so it's not necessarily bound by Vegas Tournament news.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS: Before play begins, please spend a few minutes to familiarize yourselves with our Rules & Regulations. Probably the most important things to remember are the...

(1) Forfeit rule -- Just show up 15-30 minutes before tipoff time and you will not need to worry about this.

(2) Jersey rule -- Don't make this an issue at game time. Take care of all jerseys issues now. For example, the commish is meeting with the Minneapolis Lakers on Fri., Sep. 3 to put numbers on the fronts of their jerseys.

(3) Captains and refs are in charge -- Problems will get resolved if and only if there are no more than 3 people involved in any dispute: the head ref, the captain from team #1, and the captain from team #2. Getting other players and scorekeepers involved only slows down the process.

Finally, here are the pools in each division ("A" and "B" are merely labels and no indication of competitive level):

AAA
Pool A: Bay Area HEADS, Rich's Rayguns IV, PAA
Pool B: Alameda Runners, Double Down, Pure Foods

NL/AL
Pool A: Minneapolis Lakers, Vegas ABL Select, Rich's Leftovers II
Pool B: East Bay Cardinals, Runnin' Rebels, Y Tu Mama Tambien

If every team in your pool goes 1-1, then the tiebreakers will be: (1) strength of victory (point differential in games won), (2) point differential overall, (3) shoot for it at the top of the key.
