RSF Ballers 61, Travis Hawks 59

RSF Ballers Come Back Against Travis Hawks as Carter Records First-Ever Triple-Double

MARCH 31, 2004 -- The RSF Ballers overcame a 31-23 halftime deficit to defeat the Travis Hawks, 61-59, and gain sole possession of the top spot in the standings. Erin Kagehiro of RSFB scored 14 of her 19 points in the 2nd half and Maki Tagai added 15 pts 10 reb. Buffy Carter led Travis with 18 pts 12 reb 10 ast, which is believed to be the first triple-double ever recorded in a Dream League Women's game.

In other games, the depleted Roadrunners suffered a couple more losses and hope to have more players coming back and available soon. FA-Bravo got their first official win as a result.

Finally, the Gunners ended FA-Alpha's two-game winning streak, 41-36. The Gunners' Noelle Arton, who had 12 pts 8 reb 6 ast, hit four critical free throws down the stretch. Jennifer Beugelmans led them with 13 pts. Arlena Winn led the attack for Alpha, with 13 pts 12 reb, but Alpha was without star guard Kinetta McGill.
