Oakland Rams 60, O.E. 57

Karl Gusner leads Rams past O.E.

Game notes:

Rams took 27-19 lead into halftime as OE's Rob Shintaku only managed 5 field goal attempts, although he did have 4-for-4 on free throws.
This is not an eyewitness account, but presumably OE played zone as Rams' big man Dan Gusner was only 1-for-3 through 2 quarters. Meanwhile Karl Gusner scored 10 points on 6-for-11 shooting.
Chuck Leung was shooting blanks, going 0-for-5.
OE fought back in the 3rd as Justin Williams finally came alive in the playoffs, getting 8 of his 12 points. DG had 7 down low for the Rams. Shintaku was 2-for-6 from downtown this quarter. OE cut the lead to 44-41 heading into the 4th.
The fourth was a Shintaku vs KG display that KG won. Shintaku hit two more treys and tallied 7 of his eventual 22, but KG scored 12 of his 27.
An off game for Shintaku, yet he still scored 22.
OE was heavily out-rebounded, but Jonathan Lee still managed 10 boards.
