| Reding Overwhelms Driven in 4th April 30, 2006 SAN MATEO, CA -- Mike Reding scored 16 of his 32 points in the 4th quarter to help the Wildcatz run away from a 59-53 end-of-third-quarter lead. The game started on a tear by both the Wildcatz and Driven. Driven started out 4-for-4 until the 6:15 mark while the Wildcatz started 7-for-7 until the 4:41 mark. It was perhaps the most impressive combined offensive display ever seen in a Dream League game. Will Wagner led the Wildcatz with 9 points in the 2nd quarter and Reding added 6 as the Wildcatz took a 44-32 lead into halftime. Driven's Ryan Cruz showed up to the game in the 2nd quarter and started out slowly, going 0-for-3. He would finish with just 4 points, well under his season average of 12. Driven made a slight rally in the 3rd quarter as Sunny Margate hit outside shot after outside shot, for 8 of his eventual 18 points. Game Notes: Sean Caiola had another quiet 16 points, but was an ofer from three-point land...Carlo Lacsamana was just 3-for-10, but the Wildcatz did a good job on closing out on his outside shooting...Another solid game for Wildcatz point guard James Chuong, who hit his open trey opportunities and dished out 5 assists...Reding got his first double-double of the season, with 10 boards to go along with his 32 points...Still a tight race for the league scoring title between Game Time's Mike Kraus, Margate, and Reding...Catz power forward Teraz Lee continues to lead the league in assists. |
