Yeah, yeah, I know most of your times suck. It's hard to deal with all the schedule requests as well as getting your three games within a "reasonable" amount of time -- avoiding back-to-backs too, of course! And remember we only have two gyms with 12 hours each to work with. If we had more gyms to work with, then maybe it'd be easier to get your games in your desired timeframe.

I had a long talk with Stockton's veteran Sunny Margate, who has also played with the Hotshots and even the Dream League team in the past. Sunny's been there, done that. He has valuable input and of course he and Stockton would rather not play an early morning game. Well, maybe next time we will stick to a 2-game pool play (which is less prone to schedule fluctuations), then have a massive 16-team winner-take-all bracket.

But this weekend, due to previously arranged gym commitments, we will give all teams 3 pool games and then split it off into two brackets. At least your chances of winning a trophy are 2 in 16 instead of 1 in 16. And you do get that "extra" game: 3 pool games means 4 games guaranteed -- that's pretty good too.

I'll come back later to input the above schedule into our SCHEDULE/SCORES page, and give an in-depth preview of what I know about each team.
