| Five Ten Lite Re-asserts Dominance in Losers Bracket APRIL 26, 2006 -- The West Coast Ballaz sent Sqad Up to the Losers Bracket with a one-point squeaker, continuing their George Mason-like run. Meanwhile, Kurruption got by Lifeline and Five Ten Lite blew out the Underdawgs in the Losers Bracket. With Sqad Up now in the Losers Bracket, that means there are an odd number of teams down to their last loss battling for survival in the losers' "dungeon". Since Five Ten Lite is the top seed among the three, they get the mini-bye while Lifeline and Sqad Up try to eliminate each other. But then, the winner needs to face Five Ten Lite. The reason for the doubleheader in the Losers Bracket is in case WCB pulls off the miracle upset against Kurruption, which would send Kurruption to the Losers Bracket the following week, in which we'd have our standard final three teams, two of them in the last Losers Bracket game, with the winner to face the Winners Bracket survivor. However, if Kurruption takes care of WCB, then we will only have one team left in the Losers Bracket, and we'll have to play it by ear to see if both the championship and potential repeat championship will be played on the same day, 5/7. |
